CREATING BRIGHTER FUTURES ONE SCHOLARSHIP AT A TIME
Through the BURGER KING℠ Mc Lamore Foundation Scholars program, BURGER KING has awarded more than $40 million to 36,000 deserving students across the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. Redberry contributes by raising donations throughout the year, then also adds a corporate donation, in order to provide educational scholarships to our team members and local students in the community.
The application window opens every October 15–December 15 (for the following school year).
In 2019, Redberry raised more than $35,000 to be awarded to local students (general public and BurgerKing team members) in $1,000 USD scholarship grants.
THE YUM! ANDY PEARSON SCHOLARSHIP
The Yum! Andy Pearson Scholarship Program, named in honor of Yum!’s founding chairman, wascreated to support growth and development through individual scholarships.
- Awards of $2,500 will be granted to students attending four-year colleges, universities, orgraduate schools.
- Awards of $1,000 will be granted to students attending two-year colleges or vocational-technical schools.
- Up to five (5) ‘bonus’ awards of $1,500 will be granted to students pursuing an approved food service/hospitality degree
The application window opens every February.
